The WOLF cluster is a group of computers that are used for teaching and research work at the National Centre for Biomolecular Research. More information can be found here.
Accounts
Normal accounts
Access to the WOLF cluster is provided to the members of the following groups:
- LCC (Petr Kulhánek)
- PSD (Lukáš Žídek)
- RoVa (Robert Vácha)
- SB (Radka Svobodová)
- SBMM (Radek Marek)
- STEFL Lab (Richard Štefl, e-INFRA)
- GLYCOBIO (Michaela Wimmerová, e-INFRA)
Members of the above groups do not request access to the WOLF cluster.
Other users can access WOLF by submitting an application. Especially, theses are:
- students having classes in a computer room 1.18
- students of study programs/fields provided by the NCBR
Guest accounts
For short-time events, guest accounts can be activated. Send your request to user support.
Applications
Application to 'students 2024/2025' group Application to 'teachers' group
Before you access the aplication form, your identity will be verified using the identity federation EduID.cz. Users of Masaryk University use the UČO and primary password from the IS MU. Submission of the application is notified by e-mails. Applications are subject to the approval process by the group administrator. A notification is sent once the application is approved or rejected.
For security reasons, it is important that you submit your applications from a secure web browser, which is not publicly available or available to multiple users, or you use an anonymous brosing capability of the web browser.

Accounts validity
Normal accounts are valid until October 31 of the following school year. Please note that expiration of accounts is not announced in any form. An extension may be requested at any time from the beginning of the following school year by filing the application form.
